At just 4km from Andalo and its ski slopes, Molveno is the ideal destination for all those who love skiing, but at the same time want to escape the chaos of the main centre. If you love the peace of the nature, you can enjoy a full day of skiing or snowboarding on the slopes of Andalo, before returning to relax in an oasis of peace without stress. No traffic jams, neither queues for parking: in fact the Ski Area Paganella is reached with comfort by the free ski bus which stops in front of the hotel.
You are not skiers? Winter, nevertheless, offers some alternatives!
In Molveno the snow makes the landscape magical and quiet, every step you make you hear only the creaking of shoes on white blanket… Walking along the river takes you to the waterfalls of Molin dei Mori that welcomes you with a breath taking show: huge ice stalactites glistening in the sun, hanging on the mountain, will make you feel tiny and you cannot help but admire them speechless.
This is only one of numerous walks, on foot or with snowshoes, to do alone or accompanied by Alpine guides.
Have you ever experienced the magic of a dinner in a mountain hut? The route is really impressive: you ascend with the snowcat, and you can walk down with torches (or with the same snowcat). Then enjoy the typical Trentino dishes in front of the fireplace in the hut when it’s dark and snowy outside… it’s really a fabulous experience!

We had a fantastic welcome when we arrived. All of the staff were so friendly and remembered our names whenever we moved around the hotel. The housekeeping team kept our room meticulous. The food served was of a high standard and plentiful. It was a brilliant holiday.
My husband and I spent a week at this hotel, our first trip to Italy, and every aspect of our time there was superb. The hotel furnishings, the staff, the meals, absolutely everything was beyond our expectations. We would love to return and confirm that this family hotel is exceptional and Molveno is a true delight in the Dolomites!
